What lies beneath xenophobia in Africa—fear, history, inequality, identity, political failure or something deeper?
Voice1Africa invites you to a live pan-African conversation examining the roots, realities and consequences of xenophobia across the continent. The discussion will bring together perspectives from research, migration, psychology, faith, community leadership and youth advocacy.
Rather than limiting the conversation to condemnation after violence occurs, the event will consider the deeper conditions that allow hostility and exclusion to grow. It will also explore practical pathways towards healing, belonging, shared responsibility and African solidarity.
